Although it's been raining all day long, the grass is so green, that it's worth a day (or two) of showers! But's that's what April is about, right? They bring on those May flowers!
This weekend, you can look forward to a few things happening in Sleepy Eye:
- Studio 34 is hosting a free biathlon on Saturday starting at noon and going around the new Sleepy Eye Lake Trail. Get our your walking/jogging shoes and bicycles and join us!
- Let's Go Fly A Kite will hopefully taking place Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Burnside Park. Last year was a beautiful day, so we're hoping for more of the same this year.
- McCabe's Ace Hardware and Radio Shack is having their Customer Appreciation Days! Join them for cookies, coffee, hot dogs and good sales. Their Garden Center is also open, so stop by to pick out your favorite garden plants.
